Sop of psychometer

   What is the sop of a psychometer:

Scope: It is applicable to textiles only use for conditioned atmospheres.

Objectives: To determine the relative humidity of the atmosphere is measured by the psychrometer in percentage.

Standard Operating procedure: 

1. First clean the machine.

2. Fill the wet-bulb water tank with distilled water.

3. wait for wetting the wet-bulb knob

4. Circle the meter by hand in four corners of the area and wait 1/2 minutes in one corner and make the total time 2 minutes.

5. Then complete the circle and take the reading of the dry bulb and wet bulb.

6. Calculate the difference between dry bulb and wet bulb temperature.

7. Calculate the relative humidity (%) by graph paper which shows the difference between temperature versus relative humidity.

8. Maintain the data of relative humidity (%) in a logbook.

 Quality control: The conformance of this work instruction is monitored by the internet audit team on a periodic basis.

 Safety precaution: 

1. Bu sure that the psychrometer is working evenly.

2. Be careful when the meter is moving, don't touch anything.
