  SOP FOR SLITTING MACHINE IN TEXTILE DYEING FINISHING INDUSTRY:

A slitting machine is an important machine in the finishing textile industry. This machine needs to open the fabric from tubular form and make flat fabric. every machine must have a conductor process or standard operating procedure to keep the man, machine, and material at a safe level. So the slitting machine has also some sop that is given below. 

1. Before starting the machine we need to check the machine is ready for service or not . Near control panel and the machine side road must not have any fabric or trolly . 

2. Must be wear gumboot to operate slitting machine .

3. Must not go near the revolving roller. 

4. Padder , j-box padder should work carefully. Never give your hand in roller. 

5. Near of the machine must keep neat and clean.

6. Dont waste water. 

7. Dont entry knotted fabric into the machine.

8. Never operate machine by helper.

9. Without knowledge dont do any work. 

10. Must be aware and safe from cutting knife. 

11. Be careful that water must not go to panel board.

12. Overall ensure your body safe from machine.

13.Must slit the fabric through the needle drop of the fabric. If the fabric has no needle drop then need to do natural slitting. 

14. The fabric that has used brigtner after that should not directly use another fabric. Must be wash the machine in good condition and then start another program. 

15. Must be read and understand the batch card and then start slitting.
