Description of simplex machine

 Description of simplex machine

Generally, a simplex machine has the below-mentioned parts.

1. Creel area

2. Drafting zone

3. Delivery zone

4. Spindle driving mechanism

5. Bobbin driving mechanism

6. Headstock and tailstock

7. Others

Elaborately discussions on the above parts are given below.

1. Creel zone: The can of sliver which we get from the drawing frame is used in this creel. Based on the machine spindle number there is the same number of the creel. The spindle number and creel number are the same and also have like that number of sliver can.

2.  Drafting zone: In the above and below there are some pairs of roller sets. Front roller speed is more and back roller speed is less so there is a drafting operation. The draft depends on both roller speeds. Every roller set below the roller has a groove and the top roller have covered by a synthetic rubber cot.

3.  Delivery zone: To warp roving in there is a bobbin and flyer. Generally, in a frame, there are two rows of the spindle. Every spindle has a flyer.

4. Spindle driving mechanism: To circulation of the spindle below the machine has a driving mechanism lengthwise of the machine. This mechanism is up and down with the spindle.

5. Bobbin driving mechanism: All bobbins are set in a bobbin rail which is spread over the full length of the machine. The bobbin rail is up and down when the machine running.

6. Headstock and tailstock: One side of the machine has a headstock and another side has a tailstock. The headstock is also known as the gearing side because all gearing motions are on this site. All gearing is in a box. A tailstock is a machine frame it has a bearing box and the bearing box stands on one side of the roller.

7. Without above all parts there are some parts like clearer, cone drum, building motion, and automatic stop motion.
