 What do you mean by trimming and give a description of various types of trimming:

Trimming : 

In garment and textile, we need some accessories to make various nice quality garments. Without the main fabric, we need these accessories which all are altogether named trimming. There is some trimming that is used inside of the garment and some are used outside of the garment. Now I am going to discuss some trimming descriptively. To continue reading my blog. 

1. Label: Label is one kind of element of the garment that is used inside of the garment. A label contains a small description of the fabric. Here are mentioned about garment size, fiber properties, care note, country of making, The brand or company name, and the trademark. The most valuable label is made by a narrow loom and the information is weaved on the label by a jackard. 

2. Motif: To enhance the beauty of the garment sometimes there use excess part of the fabric which is called a motif. 

3. Zipper: The component which helps to open and close the special part of the garment is called Zipper. It can be used in a pocket, body frontside, body backside, and neck side. 

4. Button: Button is mainly used in shirts. This is used to open and close the part of the shirt. Sometimes it can be used in pants. 

5. sewing thread: The different parts of the fabric can be joined by the sewing thread. 

6. Lining: Lining is one kind of fabric that is different from the body fabric and it used inside of the fabric and it is used to increase comfortability. 

7. Interlining: This is a part which use inside of the shirt collar, Pant belt, etc. 

8. Lace braid and elastic: Generally we use elastic to make garments uniform with the body. To increase the beauty of the garment we need lace, braid, and elastic. 

9. Hook and loop: On nylon tape, there are some hooks, and loops are arranged by sewing.

10. Wadding: This is one kind of synthetic fiber, which is made from non-woven a sheet and makes various types of filling material.
