 Mechanical methods of cutting process :

Cutting is an important section in grament industry . There is two types of mechanical cutting . 

1. Semi automatic cutting 

2. Fully automatic cutting 

Now giving a detail description in below about semi automatic cutting and fully automatic cutting . 

1) Semi automatic cutting : On cutting table we spread the fabric by manual and sometimes by spreading machine . In this purpose there are two rail on both side . Spreading machine is conducted by a motor  through this rail to spread fabric . On  Machine in a certain area we need to keep . In semi automatic there are some advantage which all are given below : 

a) Automatically it can count the number of lay 

b)There is a inspection light to inspect the fabric quality in machine . 

c)There is a management to control tension .

d)To keep surface flat and straight there is a leveling blade .

e)There is a photo electric guide to control selvedge alignment. 

f)There is turning table to revolve fabric roll .

g) It is possible to spread 3 meter fabric and can carry 80kg to 675 kg .

h)Can be spread 100 meter per minute.

i) Can make lay of 25 centimeter height.

2.Fully automatic : 

In fully automatic cutting machine there used Robot and microprocessor to conduct machine . This types of machine has some facility that are given below : 

a) To spread a certain number of ply on table need to preset . So after completing certain number of ply machine will be automatically be off. 

b) Robotic process after finish the roll of the fabric the machine automatically comes to the end of the fabric housing and keep the paper tube to a certain area and take new roll in machine spreading head automatically. Again start plying in the previous place where was last.

c)Almost all kinds of fabric can be spread by this process .
