How many types of sample
It is not possible to start production without a sample. That means we need to follow a sample or specimen which is approved by the buyer. There buyer may have included some requirements. When we follow certain things to make like that then we call the certain things as a sample.
Here I have mentioned below about types of samples.
1. Approval sample
2. Counter sample
3. Salesman sample
4. Fashion show sample
5. Production sample
6. Shipment sample

1. Approval sample: When a buyer wants to buy garments from a manufacturer then he tells the company to make a sample first and this is the approval sample. The buyer wants the first sample, to be an approved sample whether it is a pass or fail. In the garment industry buyers only want to know whether the manufacturer is able or not able to make the fabric or garments. In these garments, buyers want to see the measurement, and sewing quality.
2. Counter sample: As per the requirement of the buyer , the manufacturer makes the fabric or garments with all accessories to the point that buyer indicates. Buyers want to understand that manufacturers making as per their demands. Here manufacturer checked and double-checked all the things that are required. If the buyer thinks that he will get the right product then he places an order with the manufacturer.
3. Salesman sample: This type of sample is made as a counter sample. When the buyer takes a product then he gives it in various stores 1 to 2 pieces as samples. From this shop holder understands which product is coming.
4. Fashion show sample: this kind of sample is always made as a counter sample. Buyers take these sample and make fashion shows and due to this customer be attracted and buy products.
5. Production sample: During production, buyers take some samples which are known as a production samples. From this buyer get an idea about his orders garments or fabric quality.
6. Shipment sample: After finishing production need to finish and pack the products for shipment. For shipment 2-3 garments of production need to send to the buyer which is known as a shipment sample.
