Different types of fusible interlining

 Different types of fusible interlining :

Fusible interlining is the mostly used interlining in the garment industry. Internationality's most used interlining is resin-based interlining. Based on the quality of the resin and characteristics of resin we can divide fusible interlining into 6 categories.

Here I am going to discuss elaborately below: 

1. Polyethylene coated interlining: In this type of interlining has polyethylene coating as resin inside of interlining. Polyethylene coating may be different in amount. The quality of the interlining depends on the thickness of the coating. The thicker coating the more strong interlining. This type of interlining can be washed but can not be able to do dry cleaning. But if the thickness of the resin is satisfactory level can be possible to dry clean. Generally, we use this type of interlining in shirts collar. 

2. Polypropylene-coated interlining: This type of interlining quality is the same as polyethylene-coated interlining. This type of interlining needs a high temperature to fuse it. Which garment we need to wash can use this type of interlining. 

3. Polyamide coated interlining: In this type of interlining, there are various types of polyamide resin used to make. Which garment we do dry cleaning there can use this type of interlining. Also can be used that dresses always wash below 60°C temperature. 

4. Polyester coated interlining: In this type of interlining polyester is used as the resin. The amount of polyester coating denotes the quality of the interlining. Polyester-coated interlining can be used in any clothes because it never is damaged in washing by water or dry cleaning. Due to this quality, we can say it is standard interlining. This type of interlining is costly. 

5. PVC coated interlining: This type of interlining has PVC coating on its fabric and coating can be used in different amounts. It can be used in any garment because it was also protective in water and dry cleaning. Especially this type of interlining used in making coats. 

6. PVA coated interlining: On the basic fabric of interlining there plasticized PVA slightly coating is used to make this type of interlining. Generally, low temperature and pressure are enough to use this. With this type of interlining dry cleaning is not possible.
