  WHAT IS BLEACHING , BLEACHING PURPOSES, CLASSIFICATION OF BLEACHING :

Generally bleaching means the process that ommit the natural color of any substance.. But in Textile bleaching means that the process help to natural color of textile material & makes it fully white . But here some point should be maintain that the product should not lost its strength & weight . 

Purposes of bleaching : 

The main target of bleaching process is to reduce the natural color and make it fully white . Also need to make the fabric hydrophilic that results to increase absorbency of textile material in the next process like dyeing , printing , finishing . For bleaching process it increases the water absorbency of textile material. So as a result textile fiber or fabric is dyed in good condition . 

Classification of bleaching agent :  

There are two types of bleaching in textile . 

1. Oxidising bleaching 

2.Reducing bleaching 

1. Oxidising bleaching agent : 

Ozone , hydrozen per oxide , calcium & sodium hypoclorite , Sodium clorite , Sodium clorate , Potassium per manganet , Sodium di-chromate , Potassium di-chromate , Potassium sulphate , potassium phosphate & potassium per oxide . 

2.Reducing bleaching :

zinc dust or zinc oxide , Stanus chloride , Titenus chloridee, Fe sulphate , Sodium hydro-sulphite & sodium sulphite . 

Cellulosic fiber bleaching process : 

Cellulose fiber bleaching process are as below three types . 

1. Hypo-chlorite bleaching process 

2. Hydrozen per oxide bleaching 

3. Sodium chlorite bleaching 

Hypo-chlorite bleaching process also can be done or  have two different process : 

1.Chemiking process 

2. Circulation process .
