 Types of the nylon yarn

There is some form we get nylon yarn that is given below. 

1. Monofilament yarn

2. Multifilament yarn 

3. Stretch yarn 

4. Textured yarn 

5. Spun yarn 

About above mentioned types are elaborately discussed in below : 

1. Monofilament yarn: The yarn in one filament is known as monofilament yarn. We know that we make yarn by spinerate in man made yarn manufacturing. Monofilament yarn exit by only one hole in one spinerate. Generally we produce 7, 12 and 15 denier.  These type of yarn use in hosiery industry. These types of yarn are used to make fishing net and sometimes use as filter. This types of yarn can be use to catch fish. 

2. Multifilament yarn : We already know that we make nylon yarn by spinerate.  During making multifilament yarn making we need to use a spinerate which has multiple holes in it. Based on its usable area the number of filament can be changed. Generallybwe make 20D to 210 denier yarn in multifilament form. 

3. Stretch yarn: This type of yarn is different from the previous two. Here yarn have crimped and have quality to make coil. If we stretch it and remove stretch then it goes to its coily nature. For that reason we say it as stretch yarn.  By this type of yarn we can make good recovery fabric . These types of fabrics are very costly but more comfortable to wear. 

4. Textured yarn: This types of yarn looks like loop and it also have the filament yarn quality. 

5. Spun spining technique is normal spinning process. Here we need to cut polyester fiber or yarn in 1-5 inch staple and then we make normal spinning process. This type of yarn have less strength but have more abrasion resistance. This types of yarn is available and can make various fabric .
