Quality: For any product quality is a degree that confirms that the product is how much satisfies its customer or user. The word quality express the excellence of the product. This expresses the precision of a finished product. Any product quality expresses its characteristics. If a product is as per its specification then we can call it a quality product.
Quality control:
The new product that is made just now depends on some variables their systematic and regular control is called quality control. In any production process, the product quality can be affected by its raw material, machinery, electricity, temperature, humidity, dust, and dirt. Quality control is a systematic control of these. Quality control is also a process to give excellent quality products to users or customers. If we control these then the product cost and reduce wastage in the production process.
The necessity of quality control in the textile industry:
In the textile industry necessity of quality control is very important. Due to below reason we need to quality control in textile.

Because in the production process we may be able to see the product quality difference and even sometimes we can get unacceptable quality in the product. So we should stop the production of the disqualified product.
2. Production cost reduce: To reduce production cost it is necessary to control product quality. The more production the bad quality of the product then its cost will not be reduce.
3. Improve the quality of the product: To improve quality of the product we need to quality control during production of the product. Also need check quality of the product after production to sort out bad product from product.
4. Supervising cost reduce: By supervision we can select the process when and how to control the product quality during production .
5. Unnecessary costs reduce : We need to quality control of the product from the first step to last step of the production process. If in any step we find any types of quality problem then we will stop the product for not use as raw material for the next step.
6. Design and process development: By quality control we can make innovative design product and can control product quality and develop product quality.
7. Relationship build-up: If we supply good quality product then user or customer will be satisfied. Then there will be a strong relationship with customer and producer.
8. Improve technical knowledge of employee: Due to the regular practice of quality control we can develop the process and database of the product which will help to provide good quality product.
