High temperature polyester dyeing process
High-temperature dyeing process :
Polyester fiber can be dyed by disperse dye. In the previous blog discussed carrier dyeing methods and in this blog, I am going to describe about the High-temperature dyeing process for polyester dyeing by disperse dye.
If we dye polyester fabric at 120°C - 130°C by dispersing dye then we can get many advantages and good results. In high temperatures, we have no need to use the carrier and can get deep shade. So their financial loss will be less and not need more time. After 100°C that means 120°C-130°C polyester fiber be puffed. A high winch or Jet dyeing machine can be used for polyester dyeing.
Recipe :
Disperse dye: 2.5-3% based on the weight of the fabric and lab shade%
Dispersing agent: 2.5-3 gram /Liter
Acetic acid : 5 gram / Liter
Material : Liquor : 1: 30
Temperature: 130°C
Time: 1 hour
Dyeing process: At first we need to take 30 times water after that the temperature rises up to 40°C then add fabric to the dyeing machine. After that rising temperature is up to 60°C. After that, need to add dispersing agent and acetic acid to the dye bath and mix up it well. Then need to add dispersed dye and gradually raise the temperature and increase it up to 130°C. In this state, need to continue for up to 30-45 minutes. Then we wash the fabric well in cold water and chemical treatment. Then we use the below recipe to treat:
Caustic soda: 2-3% based on fabric weight
Sodium Hydro-sulphite: 2-3% based on fabric weight
Temperature: 100°C
Time : 10 minutes
Material : Liquor : 1:20
In recent times in all countries polyester dyeing do in high temperature. Due to do high temperature dyeing need special dyeing machine those have capacity to rise temperature up to 130°C.
