 Describe the parts of a loom :

There are many important parts of a loom. Parts of a loom is given below: 

1. Heald shaft

2. Shuttle

1. Heald shaft: This is a line of twisted yarn that may be a twine cord or metallic wire and has two wood or metallic sheet. Every yarn or metallic wire is attached to the wood or metal sheet. Every heald shaft has an eye in the right middle of the wire that is known as the heald eye. Every warp yarn is drawn through the eye. Heald shaft is also known as cam leaves or straves. The number of heald shafts depends on the drafting plan. In a design repeat if there is the maximum number of warp yarn then it needs more heald shaft. 

2. Shuttle: This is the bearer of weft yarn. After making shade as per design we need to pass weft yarn through the shade and take weft yarn from one end to another end. As a result it makes fabrics for interlacement of the yarn sets. The shuttle is made from high-quality wood. On one side of a shuttle, there are many eyes to set yarn, and on both sides of a shuttle.

3. Picker: It is an important element of wood or plastic. This is adjusted with a spindle which is present in a shuttle. These parts get motion by picking arm speed. 

4. Reed: This looks like a combing reed. The gap between the two-wire is known as the draft. The There are many ways to. There are many processes for the selection of reed count. Reed can be as below :

e) Ordinary reed.

5. Beam: The beam can be made of wood or metal.  It has one flange on both sides. In a loom, there may be two beams. One is a warp beam and another is clothes beam. Without these, there are also two beams in the loom named as back beam and breast beam. The back beam stands on the back breast and the breast beam stands on the front breast.

6. Lease rod: To arrange warp yarn in good arrangement and if the yarn broke then need to place instant need lease rod. It helps to find out the broken yarn and easily can attach with the definite yarn. 

7. Picking stick: This is made of wood. The shape of the picking stick can vary on the use and be circle type or wider. A round shape picking stick is used for over-picking and a wider stand is used for under picking machine. This picking stick hit the picker with force.
