What is pigment and classification of Pigment :
Pigment the word comes from Latin word " pingere'' which means paint or dye which all are insoluble organic or in-organic colorant material that use in all over print and after print that are not soluble .This type of dyes are not soluble in water . Only with binder chemical we fix this color on textile material .
Chromophore group are present in pigment but auxochrome group are not in pigment so for that pigment have no absorbency/affinity to textile fiber . Pigments are of five different kinds . They are spectral , cubical , nadular, acicular , hamullar .
Classification of pigment : Primarily pigment is classified in 2 category .
1. Natural pigment
2. Synthetic pigment
