  460 gsm Diagonal terry or cross terry: 

We know that diagonal terry we do in both single jersey and fleece machine.  But this fabric is a product of fleece machine. 

Here,  

Required yarn count: 28/1 cotton + 20/1 cotton cotton+ 7/1 cotton

Stitch length: 4.90 + 3.90 + 2.10 

Required gsm =460

Required dia= 78/80 inch 

Machine dia x Gauge= 36 X 16 

As this is a new product so we will first set a preparatory process as wash and tumble dry. 

Before wash dia = 90" 

Before wash gsm = 401

After wash dia =78 inch 

After wash gsm = 528 

Lengthwise shrinkage% = -15% 

Widthwise shrinkage %=-18%

So now we will start this parameter for trial batch fabric knitting.  If trial batch result and quality meet gsm, recovery and buyer required quality then we will start bulk knitting. 

After knitting it need to make a batch and then we need to dye the fabric. 

After dyeing we dry the fabric in stenter machine. Stenter machine parameter is as below.  

Temperature: 140°C 

Speed: 14 meter / minute 

Overfeed %: 25%

Padder pressure : 5/2 

Fabric setting width : 79 inch 

After finish dia : 81 inch 

After finish gsm : 428 

After  that we do compacting the fabric in below parameter: 

Temperature : 120°C 

Speed : 10 

Overfeed%: 40%

Steam : Medium

After compacting dia : 81 inch 

After finish gsm : 448 

Lengthwise% : -6%

Widthwise%: -4.8% 

Spirality: 1.2%
