Properties of binder in Textile

 Properties of binder in Textile :

Binder must have below properties : 

1. Binder must have the capability of  reaction with both fiber and pigment .

2. This is one kind of film former which made of various polymer . 

3. As it have functional group so it can make hard film during curing .

4. Binder film must be colorless , clear , even thickness , smooth. It should not be more hard and more soft . 

5.It must have elasticity .

6. It must have resistance to chemical and mechanical stress . 

7. It must be clean able from printing engraved roller and blanket . 

8. Binder must be keep in moisture , it should not keep in more dry or more wet place .
