  2x1 RIB WITH  FULL FEEDER SPANDEX 150 GSM

This is a full-feeder lycra rib made in a rib machine. Today the fabric that is going to describe is the line dry shrinkage method. In this fabric requirement, we need good quality like thick thin free, even dyeing, needle mark, and contamination-free fabric. So let's discuss it.

Required gsm: 150 

Fabrication: 95% cotton 5% elastane 2x1 spandex rib.

Yarn count: 45/1 combed cotton + 20D spandex full feeder

Required dia: 54 inch 

Required machine dia x gauge: 42 x 18

Stitch length: 2.60 mm / needle 

Color of the fabric: Light pink

Due to the finer count, it needs to be good quality yarn.

As it is a full feeder spandex fabric so it needs to do heat set to fix its dimensional stability. 

Heat set parameter: 

Grey dia: 45 inch 

Grey relax gsm: 300

Temperature:200°C

Speed: 20 meter / minute

Overfeed: 20%

After heat set dia: 57 inch 

After heat set gsm: 140 

After that, we need to dye the fabric in light pink color. After completing dyeing we need to dry the fabric in a stenter machine. Stenter parameter is given below: 

Width set: 58 inch

Temperature: 160°C

Speed: 20 meter / minute 

Overfeed: 60%

padder pressure: 4

Blower: 93

Softener: 2.8 gram /liter

After dry dia: 54 inch 

After dry gsm: 152

We checked the shrinkage of the fabric in line dry method and got,

Lengthwise%: -2%

Widthwise: -5%

Spirality: 0.5%
